My 2001 model #5 is still alive,kickin,and doin' it to it!
There are a few cracks hither and thither-biggest one radiating upwards
from the top right corner of the draft door mounting, a scary one in the firebox ring,and one on the damper top.
Lotsa tiles are missing and one caster (not SS at all) has crumbled and is now replaced by a brick.
I took the springs out of the prop tubes so it's a total heave to open but the lid weight still seals the original gasket fairly well.
IIRC it was one of the first Indonesian models and methinks that has had a lot to do with its longevity.
If Dick the Dick wants to tout me as a success story I'd be willing for a small wad of cash or cashier's cheque!!
