Davidx, today is the last day of the sale and everyone is very busy. They will be available to follow up tomorrow. There is a good substitute that some have used called Rutlands Furnace Cement. Richard would know more about it and maybe others.


Yeah right! They are all busy handling all the last minute orders. LMAO. While the other two are at the casino buffet, maybe one of them stayed behind to type in the changes to their webpage to announce their Post-Summer-Pre-Fall-Limited-Time-Only-Never-Ending sale.

No problem. These guys just need to get on the "A" list! Kustomer service at "Team Kamado" is still a nightmare and the sale is over!

Same here. I've been trying to send money to Kamado for over a year in exchange for product they advertise for sale. For several weeks I've been trying to buy a rod firebox for a K5 and 5lbs of M63. I'll send the money right this minute if I knew the right amount to send and that the girls would magically know what to send me back. However I'd prefer a call back and a proper transaction which is just the right way to do business.

Agreed. Been sending emails since beginning of August to buy charcoal and obtain a rod firebox. After some initial replies, I have received no communication for nearly a month. Maybe have a time set where somebody could be at the phone on a certain day and I would certainly do my best to call at a specified time. Richard, any thoughts or comments on that sort of setup? Just looking to help in some way with a suggestion
