I'm one of the rare ones that actually got a replacement kamado under Richard's "guarantee". He still managed to screw me over, but that's the same song that everyone sings.

One year later the tiles start to slough off the kamado in big sheets.

I wonder how long until it crumbles into dust?

Richard, I hope you read this: You're a fuc*ing bastard and I hope you rot in Hell.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. At least you know you aren't alone, for whatever that's worth.

Yes, its too bad you did not find this site before you made your purchase. Don't beat yourself up over it, Richard is an expert at lies and deceit. He has based his whole life on it and has managed to trap many people.

Oh, I'm just waiting until I have the money to buy one of Dennis' units... I bought my first Kamado in 1999 (it was never quite "right") and got this replacement last year (with the order never 100% fulfilled). I can bide my time with this one until then...

Also received replacement.

Then stored it additional 6 months in heated garage over winter to further cure before bringing outside this spring. Then did the break-in.

Tiles haven't fallen yet; however, hollow sounding areas are already developing. And we haven't even froze yet!!!

Well It's been a month from the delivery date for my replacement. I think Mcain has a better chance of winning today than I do of being #3.
