Faulty Welds........From way back in 2003!

This picture is from chefjuke.com/kamado. Chef Juke seems like a real good guy and good cook. I just wanted to show an example of how RJ's faulty welds were a problem even way back in 2003 when Chef Juke bought his K and was still posting. I remember RJ marketing the steel as the finest aviation stainless money could buy. The stone was also cracked. After such a long wait and so much money spent on shipping charges you get broken parts and another long wait for replacements. At least back then people were still getting some orders shipped to them. That was before RJ found out he could collect and not deliver. Funny how Chef Juke hasn't posted in such a long time. He even wrote a manual for RJ and it's on his site. Confused

That's typical when your welding is done by unskilled labor in mud huts with a diesel powered generator running indoors. Eventually the fumes get to the workers and they can't even perform at their normal substandard levels. It's not good if things start going downhill when you are already at the bottom of the hill.....
