Since 10 years I own 2 Kamados #7.
One in Germany, where I live and work, and one in France, where- as a
lifetime job- I try to restore an small farmhouse to spend the rest of
my old days.
Round christmas last year I could not use my Kamado anymore because of
a stuck top damper.
I tried everything, but this thing would not turn.
I opended a thread here in this forum,... and contacted Richard.
After a few emails we agreed that I would use a "Top Damper Repair
Kit"
Several weeks and a couple of emails later, Richelle sent me a Paypal
request form.
I payed the same day..
But: a few days later Richard Paypaled me the money back without any
comment.
Still I was hoping to receive the kit.
I wrote endless emails,-
I even wrote to Alan Z. for help.
I never got the Kit,-
nor any reply by the Company.
I do not know, what else I could have done,...
or if I did something wrong....
or perhaps this is just bad customer service.
Me and my family just spent Easter in France.
Everyone was expecting my great duckling breast....
so I went to the next home store a bought a real good French gas BBQ.
Perhaps I can use my No.7 as a huge flower pod in the garden.
Bussines in the Stated must be running very well, if they can aford to
treat an old customer like this.
