RJs patents, and 'Kamado' name

The Naked Whiz did a good job on a prior topic where he showed that RJ came late to the table for a patent on the kamado cooker, getting only a design patent. RJ has flat-out lied (what a shock) about being the original patent holder of the BGE.

However, RJ is the original patent holder of the Meridian stove:

And, 'kamado' is not something RJ made up. There are also no rights to the the word 'kamado' as a trademark, because it is purely descriptive (it is loosely translated as 'oven' or 'cooker' in Japanese). No one owns rights to the word 'Kamado' on the USPTO Trademark Principal Register.
