Richard has had too much time on his hands. He has developed the Beautiful Meridian Fireplace Inserts. He made and sold 1000's of these Meridian's 20+ years ago - I have seen pictures of some of the 20+ year old Meridians and they look like they were made yesterday. Just as beautiful and functional as the day they were installed. That says something for the quality of Kamado products.
Now he has designed the Largest Kamado Cooker in the World - the #11. It is 6' tall by 35" in diameter. This cooker is beautifully different - there is no Lid to open - it has a beautiful oven door that is 25" by a 20" arch. The main grill will be at least 30" and will fold or slide to fit in or out of the Kamado. The Pizza stone is in two pieces, the upper grill is a #9 25" main grill, and at least one #7 22" grill can be added if desired.
Since there is no lid to raise - a meat hanging system is built into the top. A rotisserie system is being designed as are double shelf pizza stone system so that you can bake 2 24" pizzas if you wish.
If firebox holds at least 40 hours of charcoal. The ash box is easy to clean from the draft door. A build in Guru port is standard.
The introductory price for the first few deliveries will have a special price of $2,000 with standard options (Lump Saver, Stainless Main Grill, Guru port, and Ash Tool). Kamado will also give a 15% discount on all accessories bought for the #11 if ordered with the Grill.
Each #11 will be custom hand built and will take 8 to 12 weeks for the first delivery. Order now for a spring delivery.
I'm very excited about this Kamado and the Meridian's - these are beautiful and unique products that will last a lifetime.
