My wife and I were discussing our Thanksgiving plans last night (its always a big party at our house) and got to talking about how we're going to cook the bird(s) this year... We decided NOT to cook (or is that kook?) on the Krapado.. Instead we're going to deep fry both of the birds.

Now, that got me to looking at the forums for Dennis, BGE and Krappydough...

Dennis -- Busy
BGE -- Busy...
Krap: I heard crickets -- I swear! A couple questions about an alleged delivery this month (yeah, right)... and THAT'S IT.

When I was active on the board it was positively humming with activity around now..

Great job, Dick... You run a great advertising campaign for the other guys!

Maybe you should reconsider.......

You are really gonna miss out on that wonderful Portland Baked bird with an M-63 glaze. This would be a great time for the 1st annual Broken Kamado picture contest. The only rule is that you must cook on a kamado no matter what condition it's in. The worse the better! Razz

When is K's funeral or did I miss it? Should someone play taps? I guess our job here is done? ( I arrived late - but I arrived) What will we do now?

Tsk tsk, Don't write them off too fast. Their rotting corpses have risen from the dead more than once.

A #7 Mosaic for 750.00??? Maybe there will be an order or two?

Isn't that the lowest price in many years? Wow, kk's version costs 5x that much and Dennis sells the crap out of them.

Hey RJ: Just think what might have been if you had just lived up to your word! Maybe you could be selling boatloads of cookers at 5x the price with the sky the only limit above. Cool Cool Cool

Yep. If RJ could have done 3 things, he could have swept the high-end ceramic cooker world:

1) Make his cookers from ceramic instead of portland cement, a material known to break down at high temperatures.
2) Honor his warrantee/deliver the goods/quit ripping people off.
3) Get rid of those ugly prop tubes.

Ah, what could have been.....

Dennis uses refractory material,as in a kiln, not ceramic.
