Outrageous....this guy has a grill thats cracked so bad it leaks water when it rains, and what kind of service does he get under his "lifetime warranty" against cracks?? RJ offers to send him a repair kit. I guess he is lucky...most of us got ignored.

That's not very good news for me. I was counting on some other items to be shipped with the koal to fix my cracked, and currently inoperative, #5. I have no confirmation those items will be included in the shipment nor have I been asked to pay for even the 20 boxes of koal I commited to buy. I just tried calling but only got the answering machine. I left a message and will try again later if I don't get a call back. I sure do hope I haven't been skipped over on this.

John,
If you want you can purchase my ten boxes of lump. In my case they hit my card for the koal several weeks ago, but not the extras I'd ordered. I had ordered new bands, an upper bracket and lump savor. It was on a another invoice, but I've tried multiple times over 2 1/2 weeks to get their attention and make sure the extra items were going to be on the shipment. No one called me back or replied to my emails or replied to even a PM to Laura. Once I caught Deborah on the phone and she said she'd take care of it. You think she did - Duh. With knowing it happens to many many members so much that we all go through their pain reading about their frustrations trying and pleading to get something done. I've had it.

While I would like to buy the charcoal, what I really NEED at this point are the materials to repair my #5. The cracks are bad enough it leaks water when it rains and mold is growing inside. I cannot use my cooker until I get the materials to repair it so charcoal alone does me very little good.

I just tried calling Kamado again. I haven't been able to get through for two days. Now, the phone message has been changed stating the sales office is being moved and will be back to normal (?) on Friday, to leave a message and it will be returned. I've done that twice already. I guess I'm sitting here in a hold pattern until someone calls or emails me.

Neffie, your repair kit is scheduled to go on the Texas charcoal pallet. It can be send to you directly by UPS if you would rather. This is a fast and easy fix. Please email me directly at richardj@kamado.com. Thanks. Richard
