I an extremely nervous about the status of our company. The company cashed my check for a charcoal shipment a long time ago, and I have had no response to my inquiries.
We have all received e-mail regarding the Kamado fraud forum. With no news or responses to my e-mails and phone calls, I am afraid that the worst is happening. I LOVE this product and was looking forward to many years of use and a fruitful collaboration with the company. Does anyone know any real facts??

Respectfully,

Jerry

"our company"????? Sigh.... (or is this one of us, lol)

And just like that, it's gone! So, a post asking for help lasts about 10 minutes and then is deleted. This is typical for their forum.

I'm guessing he meant "'your' company".

He seems legit. Reported decent customer service:

Then he was told to order charcoal on his own (instead of a group order):

http://www.kamado.com/discus/messages/4316/41621.html?1200676736#POST5 3104

Then asked about his charcoal in February:

http://www.kamado.com/discus/messages/4316/44583.html?1202593190#POST5 3803

And now this. What's he worried about? It's only been a couple months since he ordered... that's like 3 days in kamado time!

How can a person expect to have a "fruitful collaboration" with a company that has changed it's name several times in several years to avoid creditors?
How many red flags does it take for someone to finally get the message?

If Grea81 mailed his check he could contact the U.S. Postal Inspectors about mail fraud. Those folks take fraud VERY seriously.

I seem to recall the last time someone said something about mail fraud they got action real quick like. I hope Grea81 pursues that angle.

Sorry to hear of your troubles, but perhaps you can rest a little easier knowing you are not alone. I hope you get results.

The KEC Finally Arrived

The charcoal showed up today. I never did get a response from anyone so while the issue is closed, the sense that no one is at home in San Diego?, Las Vegas?, or somewhere on the pacific rim still lingers.

It is regrettable that a product that I truly love is tarnished with such a negative reputation for customer service.

Their product is tarnished by a whole lot more than just poor customer service.
