Someone wants to sell one of their Kamados. Notice that he doesn't say anything bad, he loves it, he just doesn't use it:

I have a blue mosaic #3 that I am considering selling. I bought it for smaller quantity cooking & find that I end up using the #7 for everything. Even though I love the ways it cooks, I rarely use my #3. |

We would appreciate limiting this forum to purpose in which it was intended. One of which is NOT used or other marketing efforts. We always want to assist in resale or other requests but please do this by private message to sales@kamado.com or service@kamado.com.

Now let's see, they won't answer the phone or emails when someone has $1500 in hand to buy a new cooker, so why in the world would they offer to help someone sell a used cooker? A couple of possibilities:
1) Could it be that they won't help them? Used cookers are competition for new cookers?
2) Is it possible that Kamado might buy the used cooker, do some minor refurb and sell it as new? Since they don't seem to have many cookers for sale, recycling the old ones might keep them in business. |
