I have been trying to get someone to call me back or answer my email since Thanksgiving. Richard did respond once (thank you, Richard), but phone calls every other day, repeated emails, yield nothing.

Now it looks as if my kids will not get to have anything grilled for Christmas.

I do love my Kamado, but I could not at this time recommend the product line based upon the serious deterioration in service response, and that, friends at Kamado, is a crying shame.

Exactly why is it a crying shame? Better to avoid Kamado altogether than buy a krap kooker and then find out you can't get service. Even if they had good service, why buy a krap kooker that NEEDS good service?

RJ missed his calling in the sub prime market.
